Kristen
Hi, I’m Kristen and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor!
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (now known as Stockton University) and went on to complete my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rowan University. Since, I have worked as a mental health therapist in various settings and levels of care including Partial Care, PHP/IOP, Residential, Intensive In-Community, and Outpatient. I specialize in working adolescents and teens and use an eclectic approach in session with clients with elements of Trauma- Informed approaches, Dialectical Behavioral and Cognitive Behavior Therapies, and am always client-centered. I have experience working with various diagnoses such as Anxiety, Depression, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and my goal is to always provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for my clients to sort through life’s ups and downs.

I work from a social justice perspective and recognize the effects of oppression on marginalized populations while bringing warmth, humor, & creativity into sessions. I strive to create a welcoming space for all to explore their authentic selves.
